CHOOSE WISELY

Stop trying to find your worth in all the wrong places and with all the wrong people.

In the movie ‘Raiders of the lost Ark’, the English Knight told Indiana Jones to "choose wisely"..... and he correctly chose the challis that would give him everlasting life.

So what do you choose?  What will make your life everlastingly happy? Everlastingly content? For starters you can be happy with yourself!
You are amazing and you will always be amazing!
It's time you stop and reflect on your tremendous value and worth.
You are unique and special in your own individual way. You don't have to prove yourself to anyone!  You don’t need the wrong kind of people in your life to drag you down, feed your self-doubt and just complicate your dreams. Choose wisely those people who support you.

So, to realize your tremendous worth you may need to immerse yourself in a little ‘self-love’.
That might include accepting a complement when someone says "good job,” and not trying to talk them out of it.
Maybe prayer… If asked, God is more than willing to tell you how precious you are.
Take time each day to look within you to find the happiness you seek.  When you are happy and content with yourself, then you can be a light to others around you.

When we start accepting our own true value everything starts to change for us, people will recognize your worth, they will lift you with their positive thoughts and encouragement.  You will become your very best self.  Choose to love yourself!

“As you breathe in, cherish yourself. As you breathe out, cherish all Beings.”

Be The Best Of Whatever You Are

I was in the forest the other day and noticed a small pine tree, a sapling. It was about 2 feet tall and was surrounded by towering mature Pines.

I thought about how it might feel, was it intimidated by the more majestic trees around it, did it feel frustrated at being so small? I don't know how a tree really feels, but that little pine tree was beautiful to me... full of potential, protected and cared for by its elders. It was EXACTLY what it should be and where it should be.

Don't compare yourself to those around you. You are strong and beautiful just the way you are. Raise your chin up and move forward in your life with confidence.
The only person you should be comparing yourself to is you.  Are you doing better today than you did yesterday, last week, 5 years ago?

Comparison is the fast track to unhappiness. We all grow at our own pace.  No one ever compares themselves to someone else and comes out even.  We bring our own unique qualities to the picnic of life.  How can you compare a frog to a swan.... you can't, but each is needed and fills a purpose.

Mark Twain said:  "Comparison is the death of joy."

This little pine tree will take years to become what its elders are, and in the process it will weather storms, and wind and rain and snow.  It will have years of less water than others, but it will continue and learn how to survive.  It will learn to stand straight, and reach for the sun.  Don't let people put labels on you, don't allow yourself to be compared.

You are special and unique!  It doesn't matter how old you are, you have years of experiences left in your life.  Find peace with yourself, love your differences and your unique qualities,  find joy in who you are.   I believe that we don't realize how many people look at us and admire one or more of our qualities.    You are enough just the way you are.

An Attitude of Happiness and a Spirit of Optimism

I was raised with the saying, “Just give it time, things always work out.”
That is true, but I always worried about HOW it was going to work out!
Was it going to be what I hoped  for or was it going to be just bad.

Well I have learned that however things work out there is a purpose and reason for it.  Whether it is for the overall good, a personal learning experience, or many times its just out of our control, then we just deal with what we must.  Its just called life!

The key it to all is to look a little closer for the good.   You can’t create anything good out of pessimism or cynicism.   Look for the sunlight peeping out through the clouds.  Being optimistic is the key to allowing the world to flow around you.  It is the key to seeing opportunities.
Tragedy is always around us, YES!  Problems are everywhere, YES!  Yet there is much fun, joy and laughter in living, if we will cultivate an Attitude of Happiness and Optimism.

“Anyone who imagines that bliss is normal is going to waste a lot of time running around shouting that he has been robbed.  Most putts don’t drop.  Most beef is tough.  Most children grow up to be just people.  Most successful marriages require a high degree of mutual toleration.  Most jobs are often dull than otherwise....  Life is like an old-time journey– delays, sidetracks, smoke, dust, cinders, and jolts, interspersed only occasionally by beautiful vistas and thrilling bursts of speed.  The trick it to thank the Lord for letting you have the ride.”   – Jenkins Lloyd Jones

Believe in yourself.  Believe in God and his love for you.  Believe in your capacity to do great and good things.  There is so much of good and decent in our world, look for those things.
Look for those people, just like you, who are trying to make a difference.  Who are reaching out with encouragement and love and making a difference in their lives as well and so many other lives around them.

Don’t let that bad day take you out of the game.  Don’t let the negative voices around you slow your progress forward.  Believe that no trial, struggle, or heartache is so great that you cannot survive it.
You have infinite possibilities, You are the captain of your life.

Do it with a smile on your face, hope and optimism in your heart and happiness will never be illusive.

Being YOU!
Have you ever seen someone that just struggles in social situations or someone who always makes everyone around them miserable or someone who is boisterous and brash; or how about someone who is so shy they can hardly speak, or someone that is afraid of social situations.

That is because you are not seeing the real person– you are seeing a mask they are wearing.  They have covered their real self, because of fear, anxiety or  lack of confidence, fear of judgment, unhappiness or shame.  There are many reasons.

“Waking up to who you are requires letting go of who you imagine yourself to be.” -Alan Watts

Our true self is who we are when we let go of our stories, and often the false beliefs that accompany them.   Part of all of that is the ‘stuff’ we take on from other people.  We willingly carry their baggage as our own, believing that we are some how helping them, or that what we are being told about our self is true! To uncover our true nature and find peace and contentment with ourselves here are some things we can be more aware of.

LOVE YOURSELF
Have you ever watched small children?  You will notice that they are naturally loving and happy.  That is their true nature.  I have a beautiful granddaughter (many of them actually), that the moment she hears music, her hips start swaying, her head starts rocking and her whole little body is in movement with the music.  She doesn’t feel silly, shy or dumb.  She just opens her whole heart to the flow of music through her body.  She is confident in herself and just experiencing the moment to its fullest.

Children are just pure love and light.  A hug, and “I love you” will quickly wipe away their tears.  They forgive immediately and offer love again, quickly.
To open our hearts to love, we need to forget what the world around us tells us we should be.  Move passed fears of allowing the world to see us as we really are– and just be free and open, letting our true nature bloom.  You are so amazing as an individual, you are worthy of love from others and from yourself.

BE NICE TO YOURSELF
A scientific study showed that over 70% of our thoughts were negative.  From our earliest memories we have developed self-defeating mental patterns.
Sadly a lot of that comes from our families and very early years of life.  Some say that by the ages of 5, and others say by the age of 7 that we have developed/ learned everything about ourselves that we need to know.

How many times have you said things like this to yourself:
“I’m so stupid”
“I’m not smart enough”
“ I’m just dumb”

Every single one of those statements are completely false.  I don’t care who you are!
Imagine if you said:
“I am really great”
“ I am fun to be around”
“ Others enjoy my company”
“ I have much to offer the world.”
“ I am smart enough”

Imagine a world of kind and supportive people.  (That may not always be our world)– but you can be the one to love yourself enough to lift and encourage others around you.

BE TRUE TO YOURSELF
In years passed I have gone so long ignoring myself because I felt obligated to others around me. Their happiness was more important than mine.  I realized that if I didn’t value myself,  why was it a surprise that others didn’t either.

You are hear to make a difference in your own life and in the world.  You are meant to follow those little ideas and nudges that are trying to tell you what to do for your own true happiness.
Don’t get caught up in being martyr for someone else’s cause.

Believe in yourself and when you are committed to that you will find that your inner self, your intuition, spirit, or soul.... whatever you want to call it, will guide you in the best possible direction.

Don’t be a victim, let go of your negative story!  I’m sorry to tell you this but we all have a story and if we can’t let them go they glue us in place and we can’t move on.   Now don’t get me wrong.... our story has created the person we are now.  That’s true, so we have to acknowledge it,  thank it, and for the most part let it go, so that we can now create our new story, full of happiness, hope, and joy.

So relax and let go of your own personal judgements as well as others that people throw at you.  You have everything you need to align yourself with the peace and happiness of your true authentically beautiful self.

Frequency
Did you know that we all vibrate at a certain frequency?
Did you know that the frequency that you vibrate at relates to how you are feeling and what is going on in your body, mind or even your environment?
Did you know that if your bodies frequency/vibration is to low then you will start experiencing disease.

Average Body Frequencies
Normal Brain   72-90 MHz
Human Body                         62-78 MHz
Thymus Gland  65-68 MHz
Heart    67-70 MHz
Lungs    58-65 MHz
Liver    55-60 MHz
Pancreas   60-80 MHz

Illness & Disease
Colds & Flu    57-60 MHz
Disease Starts   58 MHz
Candida   55 MHz
Epstein Barr   52 MHz
Cancer   42 MHz
Death Begins at  25 MHz

* Frequency/vibration applies to every thing, every cell in our body, every plant on the earth, even rocks and soil have a frequency. It also applies to sound, color, light, food, chemicals, pollutants .... everything. When parts of our body becomes stressed or diseased it is no longer at the correct frequency.

Here is something to think about:
Negative thoughts decreases our frequency up to 12 MHz
A positive thought can increase our frequency by 10 MHz
Prayer/meditation increase our frequency by 15 MHz

Dr Royal R Rife found that "every disease has a frequency. He found that certain frequencies can prevent the development of disease and that others may destroy them.

Things to do every day to increase our frequency...

Meditation: Calms our mind and relaxes our body. The mindful practice of breathing in and out calms and quiets us and lifts our thoughts, realigns our mental processes and invigorates our bodies. 5- 10 mins a day is a good start.

Keep Alcohol, Junk, and Caffeine to a minimum:
All these substances pull our bodies and minds down. They jack us up too high just to let us come crashing down. Limit the use of these and you will find that your mind and body adapt and balance to its normal function. The over use of these can have serious negative effects on our minds and bodies.

Music and other Passions
: Listening to beautiful music always lifts the mind and soul. It surrounds you with the vibration of the notes and melody. Not all music is created equal.... in other words different kinds of music create different moods, and effects on our bodies and minds.
Do you have a passion for something? Skiing, jogging, reading, painting..... anything that you love to do lifts your mind and heart. It brings with it excitement and purpose that causes our frequency to rise. Do something everyday that you love!

Healthy Food: As I said before good, clean food is so necessary to a healthy life. Its frequency is high and healthy. To eat an apple or carrot a day is to give your body the very essence of health that is needed in our very polluted worldly environment. Eating healthy foods helps with our weight as well as our minds.

Essential Oils: Are a wonderful way to increase our frequency very fast. They are made from the plant itself and if you buy a good quality oil their frequency is anywhere from 52HMz to 320 MHz
(frequency of Rose Oil). Other oils that are wonderful are Frankincense, Clove and Peppermint. There are a lot of different ones, be careful and learn how to use them for your best benefit.

Positive Thoughts: Our thoughts are either positive or negative. Therefore the frequency of those thoughts are either high or low. The more negative thoughts we entertain, the more the frequency of our body lowers. The opposite is true, the more positive in our thoughts and words the higher frequency we have, and the happier we can be.

Energy Work! : After all that is what this blog is about! Check out my website and if you feel inspired to do so, schedule an appointment. http://www.sheronnewman.com You will find that there is much that can be done to align yourself to the positive thoughts, ideas, and emotions that will raise your frequency.
